High-speed Train Services

At present Stratford offer high speed domestic National railway services and in under 10 minutes you can connect to international train stations to Europe.
Stratford International was a planned construction for Stratford City and the London Olympic Park.
A train taking 7 minutes to St Pancras International from Stratford International is available to access the Eurostar international trains via the Southeastern Highspeed rail service. Eurostar bookings may start by late 2010, when the DLR station is built.

Stratford International Extension

Once the DLR extension and all transport links are completed, Eurostar are expected to start operating International trains to stop at Stratford. Stratford International is based in the London Borough of Newham in East London, and is situated about 400 yards from nearby Stratford Regional station.

The station is a well known form of public transport in the local area and a new DLR extension will be completed in 2010. The DLR extension has to expand further into Stratford to meet the growing demand of public transport in the local area. The launch of Britain’s first high speed trains and interconnections with London's Light rail highlights, especially to motorists and airport users, that now is the time to shake the habit. Travel to many locations in Europe, can be accessed faster by train from Ebbsfleet and St Pancras, internationally to Europe and beyond.

Directions to Stratford International Railway Station

Stratford International Railway station is located in the Eastend borough of Newham, in London.
From Stratford Regional station, head north on Great Eastern Road towards Meridian Square. Bear right at the Grove. Turn right at Waterden Road. Take the first turn on the right and follow the road to Stratford International.
From the M25, take the M11 London northeast exit at Junction 27. Take the North Circular/A406 south exit toward the A12/A13. On Circular Road, take the A12 exit toward Central London/Stratford/Chelmsford/Romford. Take the 5th exit onto Eastern Avenue. Take the A106 exit toward Stratford/Dalston/Hackney, then turn left at Waterden Rd, then left again. Take the first left to Stratford International.

Eurostar The Eurostar provides trips all over Europe including Belgium, Paris, Netherlands, Germany and France. Since 1994 international trains travel to France and all over Europe.

WiFi access is not available on the train itself, however Stratford International station has WiFi connection, the departure lounge also offers Eurostar cumstomers great facilities. Some carriages on the Eurostar also have power sockets for plugging in items such as a mobile phone or games such as Nintendo DS.

Stratford International is located next to the existing Stratford Regional station, the London Olympic Park and Westfield Stratford City.

London 2012 Olypimcs

Stratford International station neighbours the Olympic village park and stadium, where the London 2012 Olympics will take place! Stratford will operate a special shuttle service during the Olympic season called Olympic-Javelin, these trains will arrive every three minutes from either Kent or St Pancras in London.

Stratford is in the London Borough of Newham in the Eastend of London and is linked to the Docklands Light Railway service on the London Underground and Overground railway services.

Channel Tunnel services are not yet available from Stratford International, however Startford is the nearest highspeed station to central London and this will be beneficial to the regeneration of London's Eastend, Kent and the London 2012 Olympics.

Stratford International does not travel directly from UK to Europe. However the high speed trains provide ideal transport for commuters taking just 7 minutes to St Pancras in Central London, UK. Eurostar International train services enable travel to top European destinations and cities such as Brussels, Lille, Paris and Disneyland Paris ....

International trains depart from St Pancras International, Ebbsfleet International and Ashford International to Europe. A direct connection to international Eurostar trains is not available yet, however Stratford has easy access by train to international terminals such as St Pancras International station. High speed trains reduce journey times between London, with an average travel time to St Pancras or Ebbsfleet of just 7 - 11 minutes at high speed.
